9-Inch Farmhouse Oak Wood Lazy Susan

Best for: Tidying oils, spices and condiments next to the stove or on the table
Our take
A lazy susan is a simple fix for the cluster of bottles that builds up beside the stove: put them on a turntable and everything at the back is one spin away. This one is an oak tray with a walnut finish and a black metal rail around the edge, which keeps bottles from sliding off when it turns and gives it a farmhouse look that is nice enough to leave out on the counter or dining table. It rotates smoothly and works equally well for salt, pepper and oil by the cooktop, coffee syrups, a breakfast station, or jars in a pantry or cabinet. The 9-inch size we link to is compact. It holds about four or five bottles, as in the photo, and fits small counters and cabinet shelves; the same listing goes up to 24 inches for large dining tables, in a wide range of finishes. Since it is wood, wipe it clean instead of soaking it, and dry up oil drips before they mark the finish. If you have a lot to store, measure first and consider the 10 or 12-inch size.
