Best for: iPhone owners who want cable-free top-ups through the day
Our take
This power bank snaps magnetically onto the back of a MagSafe iPhone and charges it without a cable. It is Qi2 certified, which means it can deliver up to 15W wirelessly, twice the 7.5W that older magnetic packs manage on an iPhone, so the convenience no longer costs you much speed. The 10,000 mAh cell gives about 1.8 charges of an iPhone 15 Pro by Anker's own figure, a realistic number that accounts for the energy wireless charging loses as heat. A small display on the side shows the remaining percentage, far more useful than four dots, and a fold-out stand props the phone up for video or calls while it charges. There is also a USB-C port for wired charging of earbuds, a tablet or a non-magnetic phone, and it recharges the bank itself; a 2-foot USB-C cable is included. The listing names iPhone 13 through 16 as compatible, and you need a MagSafe-compatible case or no case for the magnets to hold. The trade-off is bulk: 10,000 mAh makes this noticeably thicker and heavier on the back of a phone than slim 5,000 mAh packs, so it is better on a desk, in a bag or on a flight than in a jeans pocket. Phone and bank both get warm during wireless charging, which is normal. Anker backs it with a 24-month warranty.
