Cell Phone Stand with Bluetooth Speaker

Best for: Watching videos or following recipes hands-free with louder sound
Our take
Phone speakers are small and usually point away from you. This gadget fixes two things at once: it holds the phone at eye level and plays the sound through a larger speaker in its base. An adjustable arm tilts and raises the cradle and folds flat when you are done, and the stand takes most smartphones and tablets from 7 to 10 inches, up to 15 mm thick, so many phones fit with a case on. The speaker connects over Bluetooth and has buttons on the base for power, volume, track skipping and play or pause. It is a good fit for a kitchen counter, a desk for video calls, a bedside table or a workshop bench, and at this price it is a popular small gift. Two things to know before buying. It does not charge your phone; the listing states this plainly, and the speaker has its own battery that needs charging. And the stand can tip if you set the arm past upright with a heavy phone or tablet, so the brand advises keeping the angle under 90 degrees. Sound is a clear step up from a phone, especially for voices, but a speaker this size will not replace a proper Bluetooth speaker for music. It comes in black, as linked, and eight other colors.
