Best for: Blowing dust out of keyboards, PCs, consoles and car vents without buying canned air
Our take
Canned air runs out, gets cold and weak halfway through a job, and has to be bought again. A rechargeable blower does the same work for as long as its battery lasts, and pays for itself after a few cans. This one is a pistol-shaped handheld weighing 385 grams, with a motor the brand rates at up to 110,000 RPM and three speeds, so you can use a gentle setting on a camera or keyboard and full power on a dusty PC case or car interior. An LED on top lights up the inside of a computer or the gap between car seats while you work. It charges over USB-C and comes with five nozzles, from narrow tips for keyboard gaps and vents to a wide one for surfaces, plus four brushes for loosening stuck dust before you blow it away. A few practical notes. Blowers move dust instead of capturing it, so take a PC or console outside or near an open window. Hold computer fans still with a finger while you blow them, since spinning them at high speed can damage the bearings. It is noticeably loud at top speed, like a small hair dryer. The listing does not state battery capacity or runtime, so expect to recharge after a long cleaning session, and note that it only blows; there is no vacuum function.
